This policy explains what Homework Guy, the operator of homeworkguy.app, collects when you use this website, buy portal access, or book tutoring. Contact: support@homeworkguy.live.
1. Information you give us
When you send the access form, email us, or message us on WhatsApp or Discord, we receive the details you include:
- name and email address
- the plan you selected
- course or subject, deadline, and the note you write
- drafts or notes you send so a tutor or the study tools can help you
The form on this site opens WhatsApp or is a prompt to email us. It does not create an account by itself and it does not take a card payment.
2. Payments
Checkout on this website is provided by our payment provider. They collect the payment details, billing address, and tax information needed to complete the purchase. We do not receive or store your full card number. They share with us what we need to deliver the product: typically your name, email, the product purchased, the amount, and the transaction id. Their own privacy notice describes how they handle payment data.
3. Portal and AI coach
When your login is active we store the email on the account, quiz attempts, progress, resources you open, and text you submit to the study tools or AI coach. We use that to run the portal: show your progress, generate practice, and support the account. We do not sell this information.
Text you send to the AI coach is processed to produce the explanation or practice set you asked for. Do not submit passwords, payment cards, or another person’s private information.
4. How we use information
- to provide the portal, send your login, and schedule tutoring
- to answer support messages and refund requests
- to keep records of purchases and cancellations
- to prevent misuse of logins and study tools
5. Who we share it with
- Our payment provider, to take payment and process refunds
- WhatsApp (Meta) and Discord, if you choose to message us there
- Google Fonts, which this site loads so the pages use the DM Sans typeface. Your browser requests those font files from Google
- a tutor assigned to your session, limited to the course details needed for that session
We do not sell personal information. We share it if the law requires us to.
6. How long we keep it
We keep purchase records and support messages for as long as we need them for accounting, refunds, and disputes, typically up to seven years for payment records. Portal progress and notes you uploaded are deleted or detached from your identity within 30 days after you ask us to delete the account, unless we must keep a record of the transaction itself.
7. Your choices
Email support@homeworkguy.live to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete the portal account. You can cancel a subscription without deleting past invoices. Payment records held by the payment provider must be requested from them as well if you want their copy removed where the law allows.
8. Cookies
This marketing site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The portal login, once you have one, may use a cookie or similar storage to keep you signed in. That cookie is used only to run your session.
9. Children
The portal is for college and university students and other adult learners. We do not knowingly sell subscriptions to children under 16. Contact us if you believe we have received information from a child and we will delete it.
